50kms from Udupi is a seaside town where NH-17 cruises along with Arabian Sea on one side and the Sauparnika River on the other against a mountainous background of the Kodachadri Hills. By Air: Mangalore is the nearest airport from Maravanthe beach Karnataka. From here you can pick a bus or hire a taxi to the beach.
By Rail: The nearest railhead from Maravanthe is Kundapur (18 km) and Mangalore (110km). Take a bus or hire a taxi from here to reach the beach.
By Road: Maravanthe beach is 450 km. from Bangalore, 130 km from Gokarna, 275 km from Goa and 50 km from Udupi by road. Kundapur is well connected from all these cities.

Warm summers and pleasant winters are the specialties of Maravanthe. Summers (March to May) have a temperature range of 22°C to 40°C. Winters during December to February have a maximum of 32°C and a minimum of 10°C. Monsoons during June to August offer medium rainfall.

Best time to visit this beach is between September to March. Beginning of summers and post monsoons are good for swimming and sun bath in the beach.
