The erstwhile capital of Moguls, Agra is renowned for it's most stunning mausoleum in the world, the TAJ MAHAL, one of the 7 Wonders of the World. The mausoleum is one of the most frequented tourist attractions in the world. Described by Tagore as a "tear on the face of eternity ", the Taj Mahal is undoubtedly one of the world's most marvelous buildings. The older city of Agra has impressively retained much of its resplendent history captivating every visitor with fond memories to take back home. The old part of the city that includes the main marketplace (Kinari Bazar) is northwest to the Agra fort. It has several distinct areas whose names are attached with the Mughal period.

Airport : Airport is about 6 km from the Agra city centre.

Rail: Agra is well connected by excellent train services Reservation: 364611 Raja-ki-Mundi Rly.

Road: Express bus services (a/c and non-a/c) are available from Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Gwalior, and Jhansi.
Weather
Agra experiences extreme temperatures in summers and winters and moderate temperatures in other seasons.

Summers (April to June) are hot and not considered to be ideal for visit.

Monsoons (June to October) rain showers are expected, with heavy rains in July, Taj Mahal looks beautiful in the rain drops.

Winters (November to March) are very cool and temperature can touch as low as 2°C and accompanied by thick fogs prohibiting travels due to poor visibility. Flights can be delayed during this period
